Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

With the return of the Fantastic Four, we see Reed Richards and Sue Strom attempting to get married when something appears from the sky and Johnny Storm is forced to give chase.

It appears that this silvery appearance with his surfboard-like vehicle is Silver Surfer, the herald of the god-like entity Galactus. The Silver Surfer roams the universe in search of new planets for Galactus to consume and he happens to arrive on earth where our team of super heroes lives.

The Silver Surfer will encounter negative human traits such as jealousy, deception, evil and cruelty when he is de-powered and imprisoned by Doctor Doom. He will also encounter despair and hopelessness while languishing in a Latverian dungeon while Doom uses his Power Cosmic to destroy the world.

Yes, Doctor Doom returns stronger and full of hatred, ever-ready to wipe out the Fantastic Four for what they did to him.

Nevertheless, will Silver Surfer join forces with the Fantastic Four to defeat Doom? Or he will take on Doom himself?
